As a Security Officer - Full Time in Fox Lake, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support residents, guests, and staff with strong customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact in a timely manner.
• Support a professional atmosphere at the location by assisting with directions, answering routine questions, and communicating clearly with residents, guests, and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
