Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver specialized outpatient lymphedema care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The therapist will work with a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to geriatrics, addressing various diagnoses and complex wound care needs.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for lymphedema and other conditions.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate daily with OTs, OTAs, PTs, PTAs, and SLPs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  
  
• 
  Perform wound care assessments and administer treatments within scope of practice.
  
  
• 
  Work with compression fitters and vendors supporting lymphedema patients.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to facility protocols, compliance standards, and scheduling guidelines.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid GA OT License; OK to pend at submission.
  
  
• 
  NBCOT certification required; screening possible at application.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience; first-time travelers accepted.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in lymphedema management and outpatient therapy.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics.
  
  
• 
  Strong teamwork and communication skills.
