Theater Teaching Artist – Creative Drama Mainstage Center for the Arts Post Date: Mar 31, 2026 Program Details: Location: Blackwood, NJ Schedule: 8 consecutive Wednesdays, beginning April 8 Time: 3:10 PM – 4:10 PM Age Group: Grades 3–5 Class Size: Up to 20 students Teaching Format: Co-teaching with another instructor About the Program: This class is an introduction to theater with a focus on creative drama. Students will explore imagination, storytelling, movement, and character-building through interactive games and activities in a supportive, ensemble-based environment. Responsibilities: Collaborate with co-teacher to plan and lead engaging weekly lessons Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative classroom environment Guide students in developing basic theater skills (improvisation, voice, movement, storytelling) Encourage participation, confidence, and teamwork Communicate effectively with program coordinators as needed How To Apply To apply, please email your resume and a brief note about your interest to our Artistic Director, Erica Harr .
