Clinical Psychologist

Attending Psychologist Behavioral Sleep MedicineUCSF Health is currently recruiting for a sleep psychologist position in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The position will be filled in a rank and series commensurate with experience, with an anticipated start date of September 1, or thereafter.ResponsibilitiesProviding behavioral sleep medicine services to patients within the UCSF Neuro/Psych Sleep Clinic, including cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), behavioral nightmare therapy treatments, management of circadian rhythm dysfunction, PAP non-adherence, and behavioral management of hypersomniaParticipating in teaching, supervision and assessment of trainees.Collaborating with other department members on research projects and scholarly activities.Engaging in innovation and improvements in clinical, research, and educational programs.Participating in departmental, university, and public service.QualificationsPhD in psychology or equivalent, postdoctoral training in psychology or equivalent, and licensed to practice psychology in California at the time of appointment.Demonstrated specialization in sleep and/or health psychology.Demonstrated clinical, educational, and administrative skills with a strong commitment to an academic career as a clinician-educator.Competence in working with a range of communities and populations.Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon application submission.Applicants must meet all of the requirements by the time of hire.Applicants must apply online with a CV, cover letter, and the contact information of 3 references.The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment.
