Paralegal

Job Details: Job Location: Cody, WY 82414, Litigation Paralegals work closely with senior-level attorneys and team members in managing litigation cases in a variety of practice areas that include criminal defense; medical malpractice; personal injury; probate, trust and estate planning; and workers’ compensation.This team player has a friendly, positive attitude and a high level of professionalism who will play a key supporting role to ensure our clients are well served. Responsibilities of the position include: Managing, organizing and facilitating complex litigation cases involving multiple parties and counsel Collecting, managing, organizing, and reviewing large volumes of discovery documents electronically Well-developed writing and research skills Drafting pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence Applying both state and federal court rules of civil procedure Calculating, calendaring and tracking court deadlines, and coordinating the scheduling of depositions, mediations, hearings and trials Qualifications: Position Requirements: Associate’s degree or Certification in Paralegal Studies 3+ years of experience in a combination of the position practice areas Proficiency in applying court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts Experience in requesting, reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical, financial, and other case-related documents and records Well-developed writing and research skills Experience drafting pleadings, discovery and routine correspondence Experience in identifying, tracking, and managing case-related deadlines in an electronic and paper calendaring system The ability to anticipate attorney needs, identifying problems and finding solutions Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high-volume workload Experience in managing electronic and paper filing systems Experience preparing for arbitration, mediation and trial #J-18808-Ljbffr Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine
