Practice Coordinator

Department/Unit: HBD - Medicine Endocrinology Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $54,690.00 - $82,035.00 Essential Duties And Responsibilities Administrative Responsibilities: Compliance with organizational standards, submission of payroll, and problem-solving in the day-to-day management of activity in the Division Human Resource Responsibilities: Direct supervision of all administrative support staff, ensures staff competency, engages in conflict resolution when necessary, complies with center-wide employment policies, communicates with staff, participates in hiring processes, supports employee development & recognition (orientation, training sign-up, maintenance of employee files) Budget Management: Manages division operating expenses in accordance with the annual budget, processes check requests and travel reimbursements per center-wide policies, enters check requests into the expense database, obtains signatures per Authority to Act, tracks physician CME expenditures, and participates in monthly P&L review Schedule Management: Monthly, weekly, and daily reconciliation of physician schedules, tracks physician off-site time, fills available slots, and manages templates Billing Process: Ensures all necessary billing information is obtained, reviews open encounter reports and MCPG reports, and completes billing follow-up as requested Patient Satisfaction: Reviews NRC data, ensures quick patient throughput, and tracks appointment availability and patient access Physician Initiatives: Meaningful Use and physician onboarding Qualifications Associate\'s Degree - required Bachelor\'s Degree - preferred 1-3 years in supervision and management of a medical practice - required To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. The skills necessary include financial, analytical, communication and personnel skills. Computer literate in word processing and spreadsheet programs. Interpersonal skills are necessary to form a cohesive team.
