Join us as a Tendering Leader where you’ll lead a team through complex, high-value opportunities. This role combines strategic thinking, commercial expertise, and leadership to deliver winning solutions that drive business growth. Locations - Nashville, Dallas, Houston. What you will do: Lead, develop, and enable a team of Tender Managers while building a high-performing tendering organization. Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing development to continuously enhance team capability and performance. Own tendering governance within the assigned business perimeter and ensure compliance with Schneider Electric processes, policies, and corporate governance requirements. Drive business performance and accountability for tendering outcomes, deliverables, and results. Manage medium-complexity Power Systems and Digital Power tendering activities, supporting contractor, distributor, and customer-facing opportunities. Lead organizational and process transformation initiatives that improve tendering effectiveness and support evolving business needs. Partner closely with commercial, technical, legal, compliance, contracts, and business stakeholders throughout the bid and tendering process. Effectively manage stakeholder relationships and executive leadership expectations. Support strategic decision-making and assume accountability for business and operational outcomes. Remain actively engaged in tendering activities and provide hands‑on support during high-priority or resource‑constrained situations. Foster collaboration, teamwork, and operational excellence across the tendering organization. Help scale and develop a growing team as the organization expands. What are the key skills we are looking for? Collaboration — advanced level; orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive tender responses Cost Management — advanced level; building accurate estimates that balance competitiveness with margin protection Pricing Strategy — advanced level; developing commercial approaches that win business while maximizing profitability Tendering — advanced level; leading complex bid processes from RFQ analysis through final submission Communication — intermediate level; translating technical solutions into compelling commercial narratives Contract Management — intermediate level; ensuring compliance with legal and company policy requirements Strategic Thinking — intermediate level; defining differentiated approaches that position us to win Risk Management — intermediate level; identifying and mitigating commercial exposure in tender scenarios What qualifications will make you successful? Approximately 8+ years of combined tendering, bid management, proposal management, and/or leadership experience. Experience in one or more of the following industries: Electrical Distribution Power Systems Digital Power Engineered Projects Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development. Experience managing complex commercial opportunities, bids, tenders, or project pursuits. Strong decision‑making skills with a proven ability to take ownership and accountability for results. Experience working cross‑functionally with commercial, technical, contracts, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills. Ability to drive change, process improvement, and business transformation initiatives. Willingness and ability to remain hands‑on and actively support tendering activities when required. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Schneider Electric tendering processes and governance requirements. Familiarity with Schneider Electric Power Systems and Digital Power businesses. Experience leading teams in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders. Understanding of corporate governance, commercial risk management, and tendering best practices. Previous experience managing teams responsible for medium to high‑complexity project opportunities. Experience supporting large‑scale engineered projects and customer‑facing pursuits. For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short‑term incentives. The compensation range for this full‑time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
