Schedule:

4:00 am start, 5-6 days a week (times and days may vary)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a CDL Class A Driver who will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to their destination within a specific timeframe. We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our team! The work is fast-paced, physical and requires attention to the security and quality of the job done.

Essential Duties:

• Operates a 26' Box Truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds.
• Use of material handling equipment (pallet jacks).
• Quick pace at times.
• Being able to handle deadlines for deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure that orders are accurate.
• Lift boxes and move needed products.
• Operate handling equipment, following safety requirements.
• Maintain a high level of health and safety requirements and standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience driving a 24-26ft box truck preferred.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.
• Valid non-commercial Driver's License.
• Valid MA DOT Medical Card
• Ability to operate pallet jacks (or willing to train).
• Some heavy lifting involved, up to 50lbs may be required.
• Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol screenings.
• Understanding of shipping and receiving protocols (BOLs, Manifest, etc.).
• Must be friendly, team-oriented, and have a positive attitude.
• The work is fast-paced, physical, and requires attention to the security and quality of the job done. Attendance and reliability are extremely important.

Working Environment:

• Some heavy lifting involved, up to 50lbs may be required.
• Ability to stay on your feet for long periods of time.
• Varied driving conditions including urban and rural roads, highways, and potentially challenging weather conditions (snow, rain, fog, etc.).
• Loading and unloading freight, which may require physical labor such as lifting heavy loads, securing cargo, and operating machinery like pallet jacks or forklifts.
