Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) in Cumming, GA, starting 09/14/2026 for a travel assignment lasting 16 weeks. Weekly pay range is $1,579–$1,677 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift pattern is 2x3 days. Work setting is an acute-care inpatient environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed respiratory care to patients under physician orders, including assessment, monitoring, and adjustment of therapy
- Manage ventilator support and respiratory equipment; administer aerosols, oxygen therapy, and other prescribed modalities
- Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis; document results and adjust care as directed by the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of care, equipment use, and patient responses; uphold infection control and safety standards
- Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies, device use, and discharge planning as appropriate

Requirements
- Active Georgia RRT license (GA RRT)
- NBRC-RRT certification
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant experience in respiratory care within the specialty
- Ability to work in an inpatient, fast-paced setting and participate in a travel assignment
