Key Position Details:

• 0.3 FTE (24 hours per two-week pay period)
• 8-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend rotation (weekends include shifts on Saturday and Sunday)

Job Description:

Responsible for the preparation of all food served to patients, staff and customers. Uses proper cooking, cooling and reheating techniques to ensure food safety.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Prepares food in a timely, appealing and appetizing manner.
• Uses proper cooking, cooling and reheating techniques to ensure food safety.
• May assist in restocking work station.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate's or Vocational degree in the culinary field
• 0 to 2 years of food service experience

Licenses/Certifications:

• Certification for Food Safety and Handling upon hire preferred

Physical Demands:

• Medium Work:
• Lifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range:

$22.49 to $29.25 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
