Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position Location: Asheville, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Days Pay: $2,129.40/week Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality healthcare services to individuals in a correctional facility setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to deliver patient-centered care in a secure environment while maintaining safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and documentation. Monitor, evaluate, and respond to the physical and mental health needs of patients. Assist with emergency care, triage, and crisis interventions as needed. Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication compliance. Follow facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and legal documentation standards. Maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and respect toward the patient population. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
