Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job ID: 89753 Location: Lubbock, Texas Overview: We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct patient care in a clinical setting. The LVN will perform vocational nursing duties under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager. This position requires strong direct patient care experience, medication administration skills, and competency with advanced nursing procedures. What you will be doing:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Provide medication education to patients as appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Perform computer-based documentation and data entry. Full system training will be provided.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising RN.
• Perform advanced nursing skills, including care of gastrostomy tubes and enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, and other applicable procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the Unit RN, Nurse Manager, and other members of the healthcare team.

What you must have:

• Current and unrestricted Texas LVN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with advanced nursing skills, including gastrostomy tubes, enteral feedings, Foley catheters, and tracheostomy care.

Other Information: Schedule & Training Initial Training: The first 5 weeks will consist of mandatory training Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Regular Schedule Following Training:

• 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shifts.
• 32 hours per week guaranteed.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
• Scheduling may alternate based on staffing and patient care needs.
