CDR General Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual Quality Control Helpe r for a full-time position in Baton Rouge, LA . The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, have strong attention to detail, and be willing to assist with quality inspections and general quality control activities in a metal fabrication and manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in industrial quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist quality control personnel with inspecting fabricated metal parts and components.

• Perform basic visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or inconsistencies.

• Help verify product measurements and specifications using basic measuring tools.

• Assist with documenting inspection results and maintaining quality control records.

• Identify and report nonconforming materials or products to supervisors.

• Support quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.

• Communicate effectively in English and Spanish with production and quality teams.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow company safety guidelines and established quality standards.

• Perform additional quality control and production support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, quality control, metal fabrication, or general labor preferred.

• Basic knowledge of quality inspections and measuring tools is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to learn quality control procedures and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
