Mechanical Assembler

Price Engineering, a SunSource company, specializes in engineered custom products and solutions through engineering resource management, research, planning, and development in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and electrical systems. The Mechanical Assembler’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assembly of hydraulic manifolds, hydraulic motors, hydraulic pumps, setting hydraulic valves, flushing hydraulic reservoirs, and testing assembled items. Other duties may be assigned based on workload and the candidate’s abilities. Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards Assembly of hydraulic tanks and manifolds Testing of assembled hydraulic tanks and manifolds Assembly of various fluid power components, electrical components, and mechanical components Use of hand and power tools Forklift operation Operation of hydraulic test equipment Other responsibilities and/or projects as assigned by management Work Environment Climate controlled shop environment. Requirements Education : High School Degree, GED, or equivalent. Ongoing willingness to continue educational learning/training. Licenses/Certificates : None. Skills : Experience working with power tools and hand tools Mechanical aptitude a must Logical problem‑solving ability Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Motivated self‑starter with ability to organize, prioritize, and complete work assignments Sound judgment and decision‑making ability Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards Maintains a professional demeanor at all times Team player who works effectively with a wide range of people Able to read and understand schematic drawings and prints to build to print Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach, climb stairs, stoop, crouch, talk, listen, and have vision capabilities to read and view a computer screen; may occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.
