Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Hawaii Health Systems Corp - Kona.

Additional Details:

Will need to arrive at the facility the Friday prior to start date.

Required Skills/Experience: ER and ICU experience required.

Unit Details: Primary care of ER and ICU patients. Duties may include expediting on other floors, sitting with patients, helping with transport, telemetry monitoring, and participating in rapid response and code blue teams as needed.

Shift & Scheduling: 12 hour evening and night shifts. 72-80 hours per 2 weeks. The facility’s schedule is listed as 3x12s, but clinicians should expect to work 2x12s one week and 4x12s the next week (and so on). Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements: May have to float to other nursing units not as a primary nurse, to assist as needed.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
