Join to apply for the Whale's Rib Prep Cook role at Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc. Job Responsibilities Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training. Prepare menu items according to Flanigan’s recipe manual and maintain plate presentation standards. Ensure proper rotation of all products and stock items to maintain kitchen efficiency. Assist in prepping and setting up stations as needed. Transport items within the kitchen and help unload deliveries. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area during and after shifts. Break down and clean all stations at closing time. Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, and bending throughout the shift. Communicate effectively in English, including reading recipes, labels, and POS orders. Operate kitchen machinery safely and work with hot and sharp equipment. Lifting requirements: up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and holding items weighing up to 5 lbs. for extended periods. Work in high-temperature, damp environments indoors and outdoors as needed. Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties. Complete and pass a food safety certification program in compliance with company and state regulations. Additional Benefits and Conditions Work five days a week with two consecutive days off. Paid vacation: one week after 1 year, two weeks after 2 years, three weeks after 10 years. Christmas bonus after one year of employment (equivalent to one week’s pay).
