Food and Beverage Supervisor

Founded in Chicago 40 years ago as a Delicatessen, Levy now finds itself as a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country. Oversees banquet and catered event operations to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient execution, and compliance with company standards. Supervise banquet staff during event setup, service, and breakdown. Ensure events are executed according to BEOs, client expectations, and operational standards. Assign responsibilities, provide direction, and support team members throughout events. Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate event details to staff. Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Collaborate with culinary, catering, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution. Assist with training, coaching, and development of banquet team members. Complete event documentation and communicate operational concerns or service opportunities to leadership. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous banquet, catering, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds during events. Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
