Contract SpecialistAs a Contract Specialist at the NH-1102-2/3 some of your typical work assignments may include:Plans the overall approach to meet contracting program objectives.Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies regulations, business and industry practices, market trends, Government Accountability Office and Comptroller General decisions, public law, case law, and precedents.Executes post-award contract performance management actions, evaluates contractor performance for compliance with terms and conditions of contracts, and ensures timely submission of technical progress reports and performance metrics.Serves as business advisor to a wide range of customers; represents the interest of USTRANSCOM in meetings and various contacts outside the agency.
