Java Full Stack Developer - Financial Crime Technology

New York, New York City 10/15/2025 Contract Active Job Description: Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our Financial Crime Technology team. This role involves leading strategic and tactical solution implementations, delivering high-quality projects, and contributing to technology transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java technologies, front-end frameworks, cloud platforms, and financial crime domain knowledge. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of strategic and tactical technology solutions. Manage project delivery within scope, timelines, and quality standards. Collaborate with other leads to drive technology transformation. Write code aligned with requirements and design specifications. Mentor and coach team members to enhance performance and growth. Continuously seek knowledge from internal and external sources. Utilize DevOps tools to automate testing and deployment processes. Required Qualifications 8–10 years of hands-on experience in core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Batch. 8–10 years of experience with Angular or React frameworks. Proven track record of implementing large-scale projects on the Java platform. Strong experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and MongoDB. Proficiency in data analysis, profiling, and lineage. Experience in defining reusable solutions aligned with enterprise strategy. Solid background in Agile methodologies. Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and DataBricks. Expertise in software architecture and design patterns (SOA, layered architecture, component-based architecture). Domain expertise in financial services, specifically financial crime technologies. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience with financial crime tools such as Actimize. Familiarity with Kafka. Exposure to machine learning and predictive analytics. Knowledge of test-driven development.
