Salary: $50.63 - $64.38 per hour, depending on years of experience

Position Summary
The only hospital providing emergency and ambulatory care to the densely populated, culturally and economically diverse, and medically underserved populations of the Rockaways and Five Towns in southern Queens County and southwestern Nassau County, New York is currently seeking a Lab Technologist to join their dynamic team. This role is an Night shift and also comes with union benefits.

Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift:

• 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (5 days a week with rotating weekends)
• Night Shift

Key Duties:

• Perform professional laboratory duties under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.
• Provide high-quality and efficient laboratory services through proper use of equipment, supplies, and resources.
• Conduct testing and generate clinical results across all areas of the laboratory.
• Support accurate diagnosis and treatment by ensuring timely and reliable lab results.
• Follow guidance from the Blood Bank Manager when performing blood bank-related responsibilities.

Qualifications
Education:

• B.S. in Lab Science or related field

Licenses and Certification:

• N.Y.S. Clinical Laboratory Technologist license

Skills:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Blood Bank, Hematology and/or Chemistry Technologist preferred. Recent experience required.
