URGENT HIRING – Travel Surgical Technologist (CST) | Level 1 Trauma | Atlanta, GA

• Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Schedule: Call, Weekends & Holidays Required (No Block Scheduling)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Competitive Travel Pay Package (W2)

• Blended Hourly Pay Rate (W2): $49.00
• Weekly Pay Rate (W2): $1,900.00
• Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $12.00
• Minimum Hourly Stipend: $38.00
• Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $432.00
• Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,420.00

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly before procedures begin
• Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments, suturing, and managing surgical tools with precision and efficiency
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to safeguard patient health during all procedures
• Monitor vital signs and patient status throughout surgeries, providing critical support to the surgical team
• Collect and document data related to surgical procedures, patient responses, and equipment usage in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or other EMR platforms
• Support patient care activities including positioning patients appropriately and ensuring comfort during procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments like trauma centers, PICUs (Pediatric Intensive Care Units), ICUs (Intensive Care Units), and emergency medicine units

Required Qualifications-:

• Must have 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Must have level 1 trauma facility experience
• Active BLS
• CST certificate
