This position is located at Naval Support Activity, Panama City, FL within the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Commander, Navy Region Southeast. This position is assigned to the C-Street Café and is assigned duties within the C-Street Café as cashier.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Performs tasks with several steps or sequence of tasks such as: receiving various checks, cash and credit card for processing transactions involving sale of various food service options to authorized patrons.
2. Conducts the set up and breakdown of the dining room each day.
3. Prepares daily activity reports for the sales for the day and turns into central cashier.
4. May unload food from delivery trucks and move heavy garbage cans.
5. Operate cash register and be responsible for own change fund.
6. Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of bar, and dining room area and items.
7. Maintain Inventory
8. Performs other related duties as required.

• Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
• Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.

• May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
• A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

Cash handling and Food preparation experience. Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English. Must possess a valid driver's license. Successful completion of a National Agency Check is required.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
