SDET Service Desktop
Dallas or Austin, 3 days in the office for the first couple of months while they ramp then can transition into remote.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Test Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, Apex functionality, and Lightning components.
- Validate Salesforce integrations with internal and third-party systems.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable test components.
- Perform API testing and validate data flows between Salesforce and external applications.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Participate in CI/CD processes and integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and help identify root causes.
- Support performance, data validation, and regression testing as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or SDET roles.
- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or similar Salesforce platforms.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, Python, or a similar programming language.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or REST-based testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with SOQL and Salesforce data structures.
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer or Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Experience with Apex testing and Salesforce development.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Git and source control.
- Familiarity with Salesforce deployment and release processes.
