Network Engineer

Job Description

A local manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer to support and modernize their enterprise network infrastructure. This individual will operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, helping assess the current environment and design a more secure, scalable architecture. A major focus will be guiding SD-WAN initiatives, replacing aging network equipment, and supporting large-scale switch refresh efforts. This role will also be responsible for configuring and optimizing Cisco and Meraki environments, supporting Azure network builds (VNets and peering), and ensuring strong firewall and security practices. The ideal candidate has deep Cisco expertise, experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking, and a strong ability to evaluate and improve network performance in a manufacturing or OT environment.

The compensation for this role is $55-$62/hr based on skillset and experience.
