Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Part Time Steward/Dishwasher at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts 01608. This is a part time, event related position.POSITION SUMMARY:This position maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly conditions. Regular attendance in conformance with the policies established by Legends Global is essential to the successful performance of this position.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains sanitary and safe work environmentAlways maintains clean dry floors and walls, including sweeping and moppingScrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks on conveyor to dishwashing machineWashes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, deli slicers and buffalo chopperSegregates and removes trash, garbage and cardboard and places it in designated containersSteam cleans or hoses out garbage cansTransfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and assists with receiving ordersSets up, maintains and works the dishwashing stations at eventsHelps keep all china, glass and silver in place and in orderAll other duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position has no supervisory responsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
