Sr Structural Engineer

Austin, United States | Posted on 07/10/2026 We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting industrial, manufacturing, and high-tech facility projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead structural design efforts, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and work directly with clients on complex facility and equipment support projects. Responsibilities Design structural steel systems for industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities, including equipment supports, seismic bracing, equipment anchorage, pipe, conduit, and duct supports, access platforms, stairs, and related structural components. Evaluate existing structures and develop structural modifications and reinforcement solutions. Prepare structural calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and engineering reports. Coordinate structural designs with mechanical, electrical, process, and other engineering disciplines. Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, and design coordination throughout project execution. Provide engineering support during construction and respond to design-related questions as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 7+ years of structural engineering design experience. Strong knowledge of structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, seismic design, and applicable building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI. Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, or mission-critical facility projects is preferred. Proficiency with RISA and Microsoft Office; experience with additional structural analysis software is a plus. PE or SE license preferred.
