Needed in the following cities: Chesapeake

We are seeking dependable and organized Class A truck driver who possesses a great deal of physical and mental stamina who thrives and can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

Duties may include:

Possess intricate geographical knowledge of specific routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
Load and unload materials, goods, and equipment as assigned.
Completing a daily truck log and submit appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up to ensure timely and accurate transportation
Observing and reporting equipment or mechanical failures to ensure that vehicles are routinely inspected for proper maintenance and appearance.
Conducting daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management
Finding ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
Accept payments and provide receipts, if applicable.
Serving as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
Complying with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
