Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator position is available in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of two years of experience in general, orthopedic, obstetric and gynecologic, podiatry, plastics, endoscopic, trauma, and DaVinci robotics surgeries. This role requires prior adult and pediatric clinical experience. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Carlsbad, NM
• Position: Operating Room (OR) RN Circulator
• Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2+ years of clinical experience in general, ortho, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endo, trauma, and DaVinci robotics; adult and pediatric surgical experience; current nursing license in good standing
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital setting with a facility size of approximately 99 beds, and familiarity with surgical procedures involving six operating rooms and approximately 250 procedures per month
• Additional Information: The RN will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in preparing and managing patient care within the operating room environment. Responsibilities include ensuring timely case management, communication with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing, assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
