This is a highly guest facing role, supporting the smooth day to day running of the property while helping teams deliver memorable experiences across the hotel, restaurant and wider operation. The role would suit someone from a quality hotel, restaurant or luxury hospitality background who enjoys being visible on the floor, leading from the front and getting involved in daily operations. You will support service standards, guest experience, team performance and communication across departments, ensuring every shift feels organised, professional and welcoming. This property is looking for a Duty Manager who brings confidence, curiosity and an open mind. Someone who asks questions, wants to understand how things work, and can bring their own experience to help develop the team and take standards to the next level. A big part of this role will be training, coaching and nurturing the team. You will need to build strong camaraderie, create a positive working culture and bring people with you through clear leadership, support and encouragement. This role may provide relocation support. Duty Manager Ideal Profile A confident hospitality professional with experience in a quality hotel, restaurant or guest focused environment Previous experience within a luxury hotel, 4 star property or high quality hospitality setting would be beneficial A natural leader who enjoys supporting, motivating and guiding a team during busy service periods Strong guest facing skills with a genuine passion for delivering warm and attentive service Confident, curious and open minded, with the ability to ask questions and look for ways to improve standards A nurturing leadership style with the ability to train, coach and bring a team together Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with guests, colleagues and senior managers A calm and organised approach, with the confidence to handle challenges, guest queries and operational changes professionally A hands on management style with good attention to detail across presentation, service standards, guest journey and team performance Duty Manager Responsibilities Oversee the smooth day to day running of the hotel operation, ensuring departments are working together efficiently Act as a visible point of contact for guests, handling enquiries, resolving issues and creating a welcoming experience Support Front of House, food and beverage and wider operational teams during service, events and busy guest periods Lead shifts confidently, making sure standards, procedures and service expectations are consistently maintained Train, coach and support team members to help improve confidence, service delivery and overall performance Build a positive team culture focused on camaraderie, communication and working together Bring your own experience and ideas to help develop standards and support continuous improvement Communicate effectively with department heads and team members to ensure a joined up approach across the business Help maintain a safe, professional and well presented environment for guests, visitors and colleagues #J-18808-Ljbffr Ginger Hospitality
