About this Unit The Traumatic Brain Injury Unit is a 14-bed team that delivers a full continuum of services. The interdisciplinary team is specially trained in neuro trauma, brain, and spinal cord injury/rehabilitation, and many patients achieve notable gains in cognitive, physical, and psychological skills and quality of life. Scope of Work Under the direction of the nurse manager or other nursing leader, the Assistant Nurse Manager has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and nursing department, and for their impact on patient care in the department. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) – Required Two years of clinical nursing experience – Required Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, precepting, charge nurse role) – Preferred Registered Nurse (RN) – Required AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, on-demand pay program, discounts on restaurants, phone plans, spas, and more, optional identity theft protection, and home & auto insurance.
