Job Description
Ballad Health Medical Associates is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our growing team in Abingdon, Virginia. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to serve community patients aged 17 and up in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. Position Highlights
• Multidisciplinary team: Psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and master's level therapists
• Outpatient focus with Tele-Health integration
• EPIC EMR system across all Ballad Health locations
• Monday-Friday schedule - No weekends!
• Optional PRN inpatient shifts available
• Nearby referral hospitals and mental health facilities
• NP supervision/collaboration included Qualifications
• BC/BE in Psychiatry
• Active DEA license for prescribing controlled substances
• Open to new graduates Compensation & Benefits
