Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to join their team. As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting manufacturing and assembly teams. The ideal candidate will have a results-driven mindset and be hands-on with the manufacturing floor while implementing a LEAN program with training and accountability frameworks. Contract to hire opportunity.

Location: Selma, Alabama

What's the Job?

• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects across manufacturing assembly operations
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, including continuous improvement, structured problem solving, and Kanban systems, to optimize workflows and eliminate waste
• Analyze and enhance process flow, material movement, and line-side stocking to improve productivity and material availability
• Develop, document, and implement standard work, work methods, and best practices
• Conduct time studies and productivity analyses to establish labor standards and identify improvement opportunities

What's Needed?

• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, problem solving, and Kanban systems
• Experience working in a manufacturing assembly environment
• Proven ability to lead teams through Kaizen events and improvement initiatives
• Experience with Turnaround strategies
• Strong understanding of process flow and material line stocking strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
