Job shop experience is desired. Exotic alloy experience preferred. Must operate Citizen Swiss, read prints & use hand-held measuring devices. Must be able to change tools, make offsets, complete required paperwork, work in a team environment, and work without direct supervision to complete required duties. The ability to set up is helpful, not required. Very clean & safe conditions. All tools provided. Department: Swiss Machining Location: Slabe Machine Products Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 / hour Slabe Machine is looking for Swiss Machine Operators for our 2nd shift. 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm to 2:30 am ! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off! 1st shift runs Monday through Friday 6:45 am to 3:15 pm. Job shop experience is desired. Exotic alloy experience preferred. Key Responsibilities Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools Test operation of machines periodically Fix issues that might occur during the shift Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintain activity logs Skills Knowledge and Expertise Proven experience as a Swiss Machine operator (Citizen Swiss) Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.) Understanding and interpreting GD&T Code Understanding of production procedures Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear) Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals Analytical skills Attention to detail Teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina and strength High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus Benefits 401(k) with a company match of 100% up to 6% of your check.
