Were seeking a passionate and driven  Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our General Surgery team in  Ann Arbor, Michigan . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Position Type:  Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Schedule: M-F 8a-5p or 40 patient facing hours
  • Location:  Ann Arbor, Michigan
  • Specialty: General Surgery
  • Team Size: 6 sub-specialized surgeons
  • Teaching Opportunities:  Yes Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
  • Call Requirements:  None

Requirements

  • APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Requirement for NPs: AGACNP or ACNP
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
