Human Resources Intern

Human Resources Intern – TransPerfect We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to support our HR functions across multiple locations. What You Will Be Doing Provide support and assistance with onboarding processes, including preparing or requesting employment contracts and other necessary documents. Assist with the end‑to‑end exit process for leavers, ensuring proper completion of exit procedures and timely paperwork. Help with absences and leave administration, answer related queries, and submit required documentation to payroll. Assist with employee relocations, international transfers, maternity, parental, and paternity leave processes. Respond to employee queries via the HR mailing distribution list. Administer and process employee benefits such as medical insurance and meal cards. Prepare various documents (agreements, addendums, reference letters, etc.). Maintain soft and hard employee files and update employee data in the HRIS (Workday). Produce relevant reports and educate managers and employees on HRIS usage. Provide support in international HR projects. Perform HR administration and operational support to HR departments in different locations. Complete any other tasks deemed appropriate for the role by the manager or supervisor. Required Skills Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese (written and verbal). Professionalism in all situations and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Attention to detail and problem‑solving competencies. Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries. Positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace. Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
