About the Position

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, preferred 2.5 years License: Must hold a valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with the following specialties/devices: ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, PA Catheters Must be able to float to other facilities and departments Description: This is a float pool position and is not unit-based. ICU RNs will float to various departments as needed. Completed references must be available at the time of submission. Candidates should confirm their required experience in the submission. Clinical skills required include managing patients on life support devices. ACLS and BLS certification must be current. Candidates must demonstrate experience in critical care settings. Daily patient ratios will be up to 2 patients per nurse. Orientation may involve training on facility protocols and charting systems. Previous charge experience is preferred. Traveling nurses may be assigned to a diverse range of medical units. There will be interdisciplinary support including various medical teams. The position requires robust critical care nursing skills and flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patients. The ideal candidate will have training in advanced critical care techniques. Candidates should have strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
