Volt is immediately hiring Material Handlers / Forklift Operators in Olive Branch, Mississippi .

 

As a Material Handler, you will:

• Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory
• Replenish warehouse flow racks and storage locations
• Pick and stage customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse technology
• Verify incoming shipments against packing lists
• Maintain productivity and quality standards
• Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory movement activities
• Work overtime as needed to support business demands

 

Schedule: 1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

This is a full time, contract opportunity.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience
• Previous reach truck and forklift operating experience required
• Prior forklift certification preferred
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
• Shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance when needed
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity goals

 

Pay Rate: $18.00- $19.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
