Upon hire, must complete all training required by the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities and become certified in CPR and first aid (training provided). Ability to drive facility vehicles including possession of valid driver's license and insurable driving record.Essential Functions:Understands the individuals' rights and display respect and dignity when interacting with the individuals.Ensures the safety and well-being of individuals and implements plan of cares.Understand the departmental policy on the correct way to report any suspected form of abuse which may be observed and/or reported.Serves as member of the individual's plan of care team.Provides physical assistance.Provides residential training to facilitate the acquisition of each person's chosen outcomes.Assists with daily living such as: walking, getting dressed, personal hygiene, eating, using the toilet, bathing, meal planning and preparation, laundry, budgeting and financial assistance, home care and cleaning.Wendell Foster is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
