Your Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient assessments, implementing diagnostic tests, and developing customized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses, either in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your qualifications
• Educating patients and their families about wellness, disease management, and preventive measures
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
