Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab will work within a 4 person team responsible for 1 patient, utilizing GE, IVUS, and VOLCANO equipment with Merge-Cath Lab Application and Meditech documentation systems. Call required 1 weekend/month and 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures such as Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, and Stress Tests.
• Collaborate with Cath Lab Scrub Techs per case and ensure all equipment is accurately prepared and utilized.

Requirements:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of similar Cath Lab procedure experience and 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience.
• Valid KY Rad Tech licensure required for techs, along with ARRT and RCIS certifications.
• Compliance with unit guidelines, including the wearing of solid color scrubs.
