Make a difference as a Shipping Clerk
As a Shipping Clerk at KRYPTON SOLUTIONS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our shipping operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Counting, measuring, and weighing articles to verify shipment contents against bills of lading or invoices.
- Meticulously examine products for defects, sorting items based on their condition.
- Attach identification data to parts and components and accurately record information for any nonconforming materials designated for return to suppliers.
- Prepare materials for shipping involving packaging, sealing, labeling, and affixing postage to ensure efficient delivery.
- Perform basic data entry related to shipping and record maintenance
What we're looking for in a Shipping Clerk
To excel as a Shipping Clerk at KRYPTON SOLUTIONS, a combination of technical skills and attention to detail is essential. Ideally, candidates will have:
- At least 2 years prior experience in shipping processes, providing a solid foundation for effectively verifying and managing shipments.
- Basic computer skills necessary for data entry and utilizing software relevant to shipping operations.
- The ability to lift and move items that weigh up to 40lbs.
