Job Full Description

Insulation Installer Pay: $17.00/hour during training (approximately 4 weeks), then transition to piece-rate pay. Most installers earn $20.00-$25.00+ per hour, with overtime opportunities available. Position Summary The Insulation Installer is responsible for installing, replacing, and maintaining insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings to help regulate temperature, improve energy efficiency, and ensure comfort. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with tools and equipment, and a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Install and replace insulation in buildings and mechanical systems. Remove and properly dispose of old insulation in accordance with safety regulations. Load, unload, and transport insulation materials and equipment. Install or spray insulation in attics and other designated areas. Measure, cut, and fit insulation for walls, ceilings, pipes, and other structures. Secure insulation using tape, screws, staples, and other fastening methods. Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites. Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred. Ability to read blueprints and calculate material requirements. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent time management abilities. Strong communication skills. Ability to perform physical labor and work in varying job site conditions.
