POSITION: ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST & Registrar
LOCATION(S): MINNESOTA VIRTUAL SCHOOLS

Description: The Enrollment Specialist & Registrar is responsible for the management of the enrollment process for students including data entry, reporting and record keeping.

Job Summary:

• Answer student and parent inquires about the program
• Facilitate the enrollment of students for FT and PT programs
  • Email application forms and materials to parents
  • Follow-up with families who do not return forms
  • Confirm intended start date
• Contact students and parents to let them know that they are enrolled
• Send and Retrieve student records
• Connect with guidance counselors and learning coaches about new students
• Notify enrollment team, school counselor and support specialists of new student enrollment
• Manage enrollment documents and paperwork
• Assist with Marketing duties as necessary
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• College Degree preferred
• Proven success in an clerical administrative role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy in Word, Excel, Power Point and Google applications
• Previous work experience with MARRS and /or enrollment of students a plus
• Knowledge of Skyward including reporting functions
• Strong interpersonal skills to include the ability to work effectively with students, parents, district staff and community members from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent skills in maintaining relationships with building leadership
• Ability to multitask and maintain deadlines for multiple projects including prioritizing competing tasks
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to plan and implement events based upon district and schools goals and objectives.
• Good human relation skills, team player and professional demeanor
• Ability to communicate program requirements effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information at all times

Hours:

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday based on school calendar. 201 contract days per school year.

Salary:

$27.55- $31.27 per hour depending on experience
