We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 25 software engineers developing mission-critical aerospace and defense software systems. This role requires expertise in both.NET application development and embedded Linux firmware, along with deep experience managing sizable engineering teams in a secure, highly regulated domain. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical depth, and an ability to drive disciplined engineering practices that meet stringent security, quality, and regulatory standards—including secure software development requirements and compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Responsibilities include leadership & people management, engineering execution & delivery, regulatory, security, and compliance responsibilities, technical leadership & architecture, and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering management experience, and strong technical background in .NET / C# application development and embedded Linux firmware, drivers, board bring-up, or real-time systems. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance and to meet ITAR requirements. You must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident) as defined by ITAR, and are you able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Pay is based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
