Auto Body Estimator – Customer Service & Collision Repair Bailey's is looking for an Auto Body Estimator to join our growing team in the Fargo/Moorhead area. What You’ll Do As an Auto Body Estimator, you’ll serve as an important connection between our customers, technicians, production team, and insurance partners. Your responsibilities will include: Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming experience Listen to customers’ vehicle concerns and understand their repair needs Create repair plans and estimates Estimate collision and other automotive repair work using a tablet or computer Document vehicle damage with detailed photographs Research OEM repair procedures Review and diagnose vehicle codes as needed Schedule vehicle repairs Explain repair procedures and repair plans clearly to customers and team members Identify opportunities for additional services when appropriate Communicate with insurance companies regarding repairs and claims Assist with receiving customer payments Complete data entry and maintain accurate records File and organize paperwork Communicate effectively with technicians, production staff, customers, and insurance representatives Help maintain an organized and professional work environment Meet deadlines and keep repairs moving according to schedule Assist other team members when needed Help identify problems and develop solutions that improve workflow What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is mature, dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both customers and a fast-paced automotive team. The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver"s license and clean driving record Ability to pass a drug and background check Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Self-motivated approach to work Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and automotive repair information Ability to adapt to changing priorities Positive, upbeat attitude Professional demeanor and appearance Willingness to take initiative and lead projects Ability to teach and assist other team members Willingness to put in additional time when necessary Ability to create, implement, and follow through on constructive ideas Commitment to company policies, procedures, and a smooth team workflow We’re looking for someone who can work hard, communicate well, have fun, and contribute positively to the team. Automotive Experience Previous collision or automotive experience is preferred but not required. Experience in any of the following is a plus: 1+ year of auto body estimating experience 1+ year of body shop experience Auto glass experience Automotive insurance claims experience Customer service experience Collision repair experience Experience working with repair estimates or supplements We’re willing to train the right person who has the attitude, work ethic, organization, and willingness to learn needed to succeed.
