Application Specialist - Memphis

Salary: $65,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in agronomy or agriculture is considered an advantage.
• We require a valid CDL with the needed endorsements, such as HazMat and Tanker, within six months of hire, along with a clean driving record.
• We require all applicable federal and state pesticide licenses within the first six months of employment.
• We prefer experience operating agricultural equipment, especially sprayers and spreaders.
• We prefer knowledge of agronomy practices, crop protection products, and safety regulations.
• We need the ability to work in changing weather conditions, during peak planting and harvest periods, and outside standard hours as needed.
• We look for strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and compliance.
• We look for solid organizational and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• We value good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• We need the ability to lift and move heavy materials for loading and unloading.
• This is a physically active role that includes moving heavy products.

• We operate and maintain custom application equipment, including sprayers, spreaders, and related machinery.
• We apply agricultural crop production input products according to agronomic plans and regulatory requirements.
• We complete pre- and post-application equipment inspections to support safe and efficient operation.
• We follow application maps and instructions to ensure accurate product placement and application rates.
• We monitor weather conditions and field factors to determine the best timing and method of application.
• We keep detailed records of custom applications, including products applied, rates, and acres treated.
• We communicate with customers, agronomists, Location Managers, and other team members to coordinate schedules and support customer satisfaction.
• We follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe chemical handling.
• We assist with inventory control and reporting of chemical usage.
• We perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments as needed.
