Step into an exciting direct hire opportunity supporting elementary students through skilled speech and language services. You’ll have the chance to tailor your schedule, working the number of days that suits you best. For full-time team members, enjoy the added flexibility of two remote workdays each month.
In this position, you'll support a manageable elementary caseload and provide valuable SLPA supervision, conduct thorough evaluations, and collaborate closely with students, staff, and families. The setting is collaborative and creative, with more details shared during the interview to help you determine if this is the ideal fit for your skills and goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Texas license and ASHA CCC certification
- Previous experience in school settings is desired
- Ability to supervise SLPAs and manage a small, dynamic caseload
- Strong communication and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders
- Supervise SLPA team members while fostering professional growth
- Complete timely evaluations, including required paperwork and reporting
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals
- Support students’ progress toward IEP goals within a nurturing environment
