Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist you help patients get well. You assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy. You design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities, adapt to individual patient needs, collaborate with peers, and refer patients for additional care. You teach patients and caregivers skills to promote independence and productivity. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field plus Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy. Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years progressively responsible PT experience. Physical Therapy degree earned outside the U.S. must be deemed equal to a U.S. Physical Therapy degree.
