What You Will Do

• Provides leadership to achieve coordination of care delivery across the care continuum for a specific patient population
• Responsible for Business Planning & Market Strategy
• Establishes, manages, and monitors performance targets
• Quality/Regulatory

Education/Formal Training Requirements

• Required - Master's Degree Healthcare Administration
• Preferred - Master's Degree Business Administration
• Preferred - Master's Degree Nursing

Work Experience Requirements

• Required - Management 3-5 years
• Preferred - Clinical nursing 5-7 years

Licenses and Certifications Requirements

• Required - Registered Nurse Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Nursing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of nursing and hospital administration
• Strong ability to create a shared vision and successfully manage change
• Demonstrated capability to establish and maintain relationships
• Strong facilitation skills
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
• Analytical ability
• Proven skills in interpersonal relationships, planning, organizing, and follow-up
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Supervision Provided by this Position

• Manages directly and indirectly, nursing associates, and patient care support roles
• Provides leadership and oversight for the assigned service lines

Physical Demands

• The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion
• Must have good balance and coordination
• The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
• The Associate is required to have close visual acuity
• Job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work
