EMT or Paramedic (PRN)

Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis (as needed) to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer‑based occupational health clinic in Midlothian, TX . Clinic hours: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday: 7:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. & 1:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M. No guaranteed hours – hire for occasional shifts as needed. Responsibilities The Onsite Health Technician collaborates with Medcor medical & operational leadership, local providers, and client staff. Key day‑to‑day activities include: Patient care and assessment of workplace injuries and illnesses following Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs). Case management for workers’ compensation and Return to Work (RTW) programs. Coordinating with outside medical providers and maintaining medical charts. Pre‑employment and post‑offer health screenings. Documentation of care using EMR and other tools. Providing superior customer service to client employees. Supporting onsite employee health and wellness initiatives. Must Haves Valid EMT or Paramedic licensure. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong computer and technology skills, including EMR usage. Physical ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive, outgoing personality and willingness to go above and beyond. Passion for delivering high‑quality patient care. Preferred Experience in a work‑site clinic environment. Relevant occupational health experience. Background in emergency medicine or critical care.
